To Varnam with Love

In this performance, Divya Kasturi interweaves personal and artistic lineage with nostalgia and reverence for tradition. The Varnam, a ‘piece de resistance’ of a bharatanatyam repertoire, is brought into an ever-changing contemporary moment through movement, autobiography and visually arresting projection.
